Accelerated Genetics Hires New Employees (6/9/06)

Brandon May District Sales Manager for Indiana and Western Ohio Accelerated Genetics has hired Brandon May as the District Sales Manager for Indiana and western Ohio. May will handle all direct farm sales along with offering diverse Accelerated Genetics programs including dairy and beef genetics as well as an extensive animal health products line. Prior to working at Accelerated Genetics May gained experience in sales service new employee training mating and artificial insemination training while employed at Genex Cooperative Incorporated. He graduated with an Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Field Marketing from Mansfield University. May grew up on his family farm in northern Pennsylvania. He currently resides in Defiance Ohio with his wife Abby and his daughter Emma. Tim Perry Eastern Wisconsin Regional Assistant Accelerated Genetics has also hired Tim Perry as the Eastern Wisconsin Regional Assistant. He will provide relief A.I. breeding service and direct farm sales to herds in that area. Perry grew up on a Guernsey farm in Illinois. He went on to be a herd manager for 13 years. He worked on farms such as Golden Oaks in northern Illinois. Then he began a hoof trimming business in 1993. Perry resides in Cambria Wisconsin with his wife Shirley and two children Alex and Augie. He stays active in the Cambria community serving as a village trustee. Allen OBrien Southwest Wisconsin Regional Assistant Allen O’Brien has been hired as the Accelerated Genetics southwest Wisconsin Regional Assistant. He will provide relief A.I breeding services and direct farm sales to herds in southwestern Wisconsin. O’Brien attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls for one year where he was active in Delta Theta Sigma. He then began milking his own herd of 40 Holsteins and Brown Swiss. After farming for 26 years he became a cheese maker in Mount Sterling Wisconsin. O’Brien now resides in Eastman Wisconsin with his wife Michele and three daughters Wendy Cheryl and Darci who remain active in the show ring as members of the Junior Holstein and Brown Swiss Associations. He is also a member of the Crawford County Dairy Promoters and Friends of the Crawford County Fair. Troy Jansen Artificial Insemination (A.I.) Technician Troy Jansen Appleton Wisconsin is a recent addition to the Accelerated Genetics Artificial Insemination (A.I.) Technician team. He will provide A.I. breeding service and direct farm sales to large herds northeast of Appleton Wisconsin. Jansen graduated from Fox Valley Wisconsin Technical College with a degree in Farm Operation. He started his own dairy operation and is slowly switching over to a beef operation.
